2027 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coin
The 2027 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle is the U.S. Mint’s 2027 1/10 oz gold bullion coin. It contains one-tenth troy ounce of gold in a 22-karat alloy (91.67% gold, with silver and copper for hardness) and carries a $5 face value as U.S. legal tender. It is one of four 2027 Gold Eagle sizes: 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz.
The obverse carries Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ Liberty, striding forward with a torch and an olive branch, the design first used on the 1907 $20 gold piece. The reverse is Jennie Norris’s close-up of a bald eagle’s head, used on the Gold Eagle since 2021.
Coin specifications: total weight 3.393 g, diameter 16.50 mm, Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
