2025 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin (Eagle Privy)
The American Silver Eagle has been the U.S. Mint’s silver bullion coin since 1986. It is 1 troy oz of .999 fine silver with a $1 face value. The obverse is Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty, first used on the 1916 half dollar. Coins from mid-2021 on show Emily Damstra’s eagle landing on the reverse; earlier coins show John Mercanti’s heraldic eagle.
This coin carries a small eagle privy mark added after minting. The privy doesn’t change the silver content.
